for Distance Education, Culture and Faith

Faithfull to the Tradition of the Templars and the Crusaders of the XI century to diffuse its vocation as Spiritual Center of Excellence Learning, the SBC-Antico Principato di Seborga's Council for Education, Culture and Faith and its Council of Accreditation was created to improve the development of educational delivery systems and to promote ethical standards in education, culture and Faith.

The Council carries out its mission through standard-setting, assessment, evaluation and consultation processes. Following a long tradition, the Council identifies and accredits institutions that have attained and continue to maintain standards deemed necessary to operate at an acceptable level of quality.

Like in the Old times, were Ethics and Faiths were paramount, the SBC-Antico Principato di Seborga's Council of Accreditation establishes ethical and business standards and examines and assesses institutions in terms of those standards.

The SBC Council accredits by Appointment to the Hon. President of the Sovereign Council, those institutes that qualify. The Council's has incorporated the practices of recognized educational accrediting agencies into its policies and practices created specifically for international institutes.

Institutions worldwide are eligible to apply for accreditation. The opportunity to apply for accreditation is open also to private distance education institutions, both at the degree and non-degree levels.

Approved Institutes are allowed the promotional use of the the SBC- Council seal and reference to accreditation by the SBC-Antico Principato di Seborga's Council Commission by Appointment to the Hon. President of the Sovereign Council.
